As you may or may not know, I grew up in the not- too gritty city portion of Chicago. Stop it- It wasn’t as bad as it is portrayed on TV.
Dancing ruled the streets in my childhood , including our going downtown and seeing a group of young men spinning & flying around on a big piece of cardboard , skull cap complete with cardboard insert for the windmill/ headstands and a big boombox with awesome music blasting. Good times!
That culture influenced me tremendously and I did try to bring that electric city element to my beloved www.naturalrockn.com
